Tell us a bit about your role and how you became a part of the team at Twig.
Twig was my first job after taking a career break while the kids were young. I started working part—time with the film team as a Production Manager. Over seven years, my role has morphed from project to department level. Until now, where I oversee our content project portfolio and project management processes in general.
In 3 words, how would you best describe Twig Education to our followers?
Never remotely boring!
What is your favorite thing about your role at Twig?
The talented people I work with and am always learning from. And solving a gnarly problem…
What helps motivate you on those days when you need a little push?
That what we do makes a difference to student engagement, learning, and ultimately their life choices and chances. And also that Twig’s success is our team’s success. It has been hugely exciting watching Twig grow over the years and being part of that journey with inspiring colleagues.
If you weren’t working at Twig Education, what would you be doing?
I like to think I’d be running a smallholding, making sourdough, and writing a novel… the reality might be somewhat different.
If you could go back in time and give advice to your 16-year-old self, what would it be?
If in doubt, go out!
Could you share an interesting fact about yourself for our followers? Something that we don’t already know about you?
I moved house 9 times before I was 10.
