We are looking for a Senior Project Manager  with proven experience in the education or multimedia publishing industry to join our Glasgow-based project management team.

You will be managing a number of projects from inception / requirements gathering to handover to business. Working closely with Product Owners in the UK and US, external vendors and our range of in-house Studio teams (Curriculum Development, Content, Design, Digital, Film), you will shepherd delivery of  a diverse range of projects across all areas of the curriculum, print and digital.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
  • A track record of successful set up,  management and delivery of projects
    • At least 3 years Project Management experience with proven experience of:
      • requirements gathering and analysis; 
      • creation and documentation of workflow / work breakdowns.
      • ensuring roles and responsibilities are clear, understood and managed
      • change management
      • project governance / documentation 
      • Project/ Resource planning and scheduling
      • Tracking workstreams ensuring adherence to schedules, process and budget.
      • Reporting / raising risks and finding solutions in a timely fashion.
      • ensuring all dependencies between projects are understood and managed.
      • working on multiple projects all with different workflows, timelines and outputs, bringing them to delivery on time and on budget.
      • successful working relationship development and management.
  • Experience of using a range of project management tools and techniques  eg Smartsheets, AirTable, GSuite
  •  It would be useful to have a knowledge of contemporary educational publishing or educational technology

Work Environment

We operate a hybrid working model with three days spent in the Glasgow office and two working from home. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring they have a suitable working space which supports high performance.
